ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE BLOCK SINCE INCEPTION

              For more than 41 years since inception of the Block, the office has been able to make commendable  achievements and progress in different field. It is not proper to mention here all the schemes implemented in the Block since inception. To name a few, in Agriculture apart from financial assistance in Land Development, Terracing, distribution of improved seeds etc, more than 1,362.53 acres if land have been brought under irrigation. The Block assisted and organised private enterprises to forward for vaccination and treatment of Animals and Birds. The Veterinary in the Block provides medical aids and treatment to animals and birds. The Block gives financial assistance in Rural Arts & crafts, Education, Rural Health & Sanitation also. More than hundred footbridges were constructed or periodically repaired.
